And what about organic waste?
That’s also an important matter. The bigger part of our waste is during the cupping, the coffee ground leftovers were thrown away. Now, in a partnership with BioCicle, a company situated at São Lourenço, we built two composters at the backside of our office. All the residue from the cupping will become a rich organic fertilizer, which will be used on coffee planting – transforming the coffee ground into life.
