Photovoltaic Plant
Proceeding with our carbon reduction commitment, our photovoltaic plant started to work this month. It is located in our warehouse area in Três Corações.
The project took about three months to complete, from installing the structures to starting to work. The energy provided by this plant will reach our four offices – Carmo de Minas, Três Corações, Pedralva and Lambari.
The use of electricity represents about 21% of CarmoCoffees’ carbon dioxide production in 2021. With the implementation of the plant, this emission will be drastically reduced.
According to our director Jacques Carneiro, “the plant is part of our commitment to the environment and our long-term sustainability goal.”
